Got a couple more layouts done for challenges at KSK.

Of to the last night of football clinic and a sausage sizzle tonight. Have a great night!

A great day!

We had a very quiet start to the weekend yesterday, with Jayden at a sleepover and Dan at work with John, it was just Josh and I here at home, it was so quiet I had to get Josh to put some music on lol.
That all quiet and calm all ended come lunchtime, Jay came home, the guys got home from work and then Josh had a mate turn up.
John and I took off to vote up at the school then decided to go do a bit of window shopping. Ended up getting some shade cloth to go up at the windows at the front of the house to try and block some of the sun that hits there.
Home and closed myself up in my scrap room and created and created...until dinnertime of course, we had a bbq - I love them! Means i dont have to do the cooking lol
Took Josh and TK up to the movies and then watched Star wars (the only non election program on tv) with the boys.
All in all a good day, hoping for one the same today.

So now to the creating... I didnt get all these done yesterday, but over the last couple of days.
All for challenges at KSK.

Create a frame around your photo.

Use lots of different PP as a photo mat.

Use an arrow to point our something on your layout.

This one is a scrapjack of Gabbie...
I am including some of the things the boys go crazy about over the years into their albums, this was one of them.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Full

One little Word challenge this week was to use the word "full". It took me ages to work out what I wanted to do for this one and then find a photo that suited. Finally decided on this photo of my youngest son and his Pa. The journaling reads....
As a little girl I followed Dad every, mum used to say we were joined at the hip. I now see this with Jay, he loves his Pa and soaks up every minute that he gets to spend with him.

Got a few more layouts done this last few days but havent scanned them yet will try and get that done tomorrow.

Minor vent...
Please if you are asked a question to explain something, then at least have the decency to try and do that and not just fob it of with a too hard. It frustrates the hell out of me when people do that, all I wanted was a simple explanation!

Vent over.....

Dont forget to vote tomorrow Aussies and have an awesome weekend!

This one for the monthly challenge also at KSK, it was supposed to be about something in your house you love, I decided to flip it and go with the room i liked the least...my boys room!

Self realisation

Deck of Me
this week's prompt is: self realisation
what have you come to discover about yourself lately? or, think of a time in your life that you had a 'brick over the head' moment, and journal about that.

Huge Catchup

Wooohooo im back online properly, everything is working again like it should!! Gotta love a hubby that is techified!!

Now this post is gonna be real long id say while i get up to date with everything, possibly all over the place as well, but improbably the only one who will know that lol.

Firstly, Deck of Me card, prompt Home. We have lived in 2 different states and a few different houses in the last 10 years, so Home to us is wherever we are all together.

Friday morning Josh was presented with a sports award for school, Under 14 Age Champion! So proud of him!!

The theme for the fortnight on Everyday Garbage this time around was Garage/hubby. I raided Johns things and come up with this layout. Used some leather strips for the photo corner, an old floppy disc label for journaling, a computer cable as my flower stem and cut up pieces of cable ties for my flower.

Delight is the word for this round of One little word.

The challenge at Scrapjacked this month was to lift the talented Celeste Vermeend.

and last but probably the most fun ive had in ages...
Part one of 6 weeks of christmas challenges for Collective Creative. Make 4 christmas decorations and personalise them for your family.

So I got lots of scrapping done whilst the computers were out of action, maybe it should happen more often lol (ok ok yes im joking). Still babysitting 3 days a week, and Kayleigh is sleeping more now which is awesome.
had lots of coffee and chats with Donna over the last week, its great to sit and just chat with a good friend!
Im sure more has happened but it alludes me for now, time for bed now, have a great Sunday!

Cheers

Computers have a mind of their own...

Still having computer problems here, specifically networking problems. I have been busy scrapping madly and will have lots to show you once DH gets all the bugs sorted out and software back on the computers so I can load photos and scan layouts...

What do you do when you have no internet?

Scrap? I thought I would, but I didnt even get a photo out over the last 2 days. Hubbys computer which is the main computer died on Saturday morning so that meant no net till he fixed it.
It was so hot over the weekend that I hardly even came in my scrap room let alone scrapped anything.
Watched far too much tv, did lots of hanging out with the kids, and basically lazed about.

A couple of things that I got done last week.

All the November monthly challenges are up over at Scraptastic South West 4 different layout challenges plus a photography challenge. Hop on over and have a look, a chance to win a gift voucher to the store and get to know some wonderful girls!

This is the layout I did for my techniques challenge for this month. Thanks go to Donna for letting me use the photos I took of her adoreable son Jai!

Been really slack on my art journal entries lately but managed to get this one done, love how colourful it is!

It's alot cooler today after the heat of yesterday it is so nice. Hopefully will get some much needed scrapping done tonight. Have a great night!

My little space!

November already, this year has flown by so fast its unreal. I feel like ive been asleep and missed half of it.

I had to take some photos of my scrap room this week for a forum so thought id share with you here too.
My space is one part of a small room that I share with hubby, it also holds all of our files and important papers as well as all other craft bits and pieces for the whole family.

This is my scrap desk holds all my basic tools, pens and other small things that i use regulary.

My computer desk, beside the monitor i have my buttons, and fibres. Underneath are all my fodlers which hold paper, stickers, alphas. Beside the desk I have my cardstock in a rack system my boys made me, with my printer sitting on top.

This is an old wardrobe that hubby redesigned for me and holds everything else that I use.

Its small and its not the nicest looking area but its all mine and I dont have to pack up after each scrapping session.

I received today an awesome RAK from Donna, some christmasy papers and bubble stickers, great for card making cant wait to use them, Thank you honey!!

Cheers
