November What's Ad About

This is my example, masking was the technique for this month, and ohhh boy i struggled with it, but am alright with the final outcome.

Buzz 'n' Bloom inspiration

Time to catch up on all the goodness comming out of the Buzz n Bloom blog in the last few weeks. Firstly there is the Awesome tabbed books, if you havent seen these then you really should, they come in quite a few different themes and are the perfect size for a little mini, mine shown below documents Josh's building of his computer desk.



Next up we have ways to alter chipboard. There are just tons and tons of different ideas for altering chipboard, here ive shown 3 different ones. You can check out many more on the Buzz blog.



The last one I have to share is all about interactive pages, making those layouts fun for little hands (and big ones).
I used a slider to add extra photos of the Jay and his mate having a fun home made water slide. Check out more from the other girls on the blog.

Whats Ad About

This months Ad comes to us from the Anthropologie website with this gorgeous advert to inspire and delight you!



This is my example, I borrowed the concept of the grid and multiple photos and was inspired by the gorgeous greens and neutrals.



Wicked Princesses are offering a couple of prizes this month.

Buzz and Bloom Goodness

I promised awhile back that i would be back with some Buzz n Bloom goodies to show you, well here they are.
Using a selection of the new products that showcased at CHA this year, here are the projects I made. The have just arrived back to me after travelling all the way to Florida to be part of the Awesome display Div and Helene set up for CHA.

Well that was August....

Whoa didnt that month just fly by so quick. It was pretty much a blur i had so much going on. Starting the month with FIL, BIL and nephews birthdays, to that we add the end of the home and away season for football, Jays team made finals and got thru 3 rounds, just missing out on making the grand final, Josh has been going hard with basketball, the team have states in a few weeks, ending with SIL, nephew and Daniel's birthdays as well as fathers day the week later.
I wonder how I found the time to do any crafting at all, but I did this is the months creative projects.

My White with 1 example for August - use naturals + vintage embellishment.

July update

WARNING..... image heavy post....


It is always reasonably busy this time of year with all 3 boys playing footy, I dont know what it is this year but it just seems alot more flat out than previous years....maybe its Josh working,(and having a better social life than his parents lol) and Daniel umpiring added to the committee things both John and I are doing this year, I love that the boys all play, but am so looking forward to the break at the end of the season, thank god we have a family rule for no summer sports!


Jay is really improving this year, he wont be winning any Brownlow's anytime soon, but he gets is and gives it a go and loves it!


My big boy has done really well this year, since moving to the ruck position (hey he is 6ft 5 lol) he is thriving and really enjoying playing.


I was dubious about how pushing Dan up a year to under 16's when he was only 13 would affect him, but my worries were for nothing, he is doing really well, fitting in to the team and holding his own....and the bonus...he and Josh seem to be getting on alot better as brothers!

BUZZ AND BLOOM
7mths gone of my dt and still loving working for these lovely ladies and with the whole dt team.

Stay tune, we have all been working really hard on projects with NEW PRODUCTS, omg you will just love love love them, cant share anything yet, but they will be released very very soon, at CHA (where our projects are going to be on display!!!) where Helene and Div are heading to on Sunday.

Buzz 'n' Bloom

I cant believe its been 6 months already! It has been a wonderful time so far and the girls and Helene and Div have been fantastic to work with and for. I cant wait to see what the next 6 months brings along.

Scummy Buzz and Bloom goodness

Mondayitus

OMG have you seen the new mini series from Buzz and Bloom, its just gorgeous!! All their amazing designs ala mini.
In this project for the blog I used the mini leaves and alphas, check it out on their blog and have a browse around at all the other gorgeous work from the DT while your there.



Only other creating ive done this last week is for Wicked Princess.
Their April sketch...



and their card sketch...I did a girly and boy version of it.



Today has been hectic and crazy beyond believe, still have photos from the cross country last week to upload, as well as photos I will take tonight of...

Josh's 16th Birthday cake cutting!!!
My boy is 16 already, I can hardly believe it, more on that tomorrow.

Weeks results

Been doing lots of family and footy things week, and the big news is we got another car!!! Its a Toyota Camry 1994 model (will get a photo soon) and im excited, it means that im not housebound anymore, I have a car and will travel hehe..

Just a few things ive gotten done this week...

Didnt use a quote this week, as soon as I saw the word I knew that I wanted to do a layout about how fast Josh is growing up.
I used Buzz and Bloom Arboretum Retro vine piece and some of the new Mini Series Frills I just love these minis they are so cute.

Tomorrow our football club is hosting grading games for the Under 14's all day, so will be sending the boys of in different directions with John and Cameron whilst I spend the day working at the club. Its going to be hot, busy and a long long day.
