Scrap Stash Swap

Yes I scrapped! New product will certainly get the creativeness flowing so the pages just happen. Now new product doesn't always have to be something your brought from a store does it ?

I'm a sucker for new supplies just like the next person, and new can be as I mentioned above from all those amazing scrap stores out there OR maybe it can be something someone gave to you that's not necessarily a NEW product but something new to you ?

A few weeks ago Mardi asked if anyone was interested in a scrap stash swap!!!  Yes me! Definitely. I gathered together a pile of supplies that I had here that I knew Id never use and I thought Mardi would like. They weren't new, they weren't all in packaging but they were in good condition and I packed them up and sent them off.

I didn't have to wait long before I got a parcel in the mail, OMG it was chocked full of awesome stuff!! Lots of products that I hadn't seen before, some I had but had never brought myself, it certainly motivated me to want to scrap again!! I really should of taken a photo of it all.

A huge big thank you to Mardi for organising the swap and for the amazing pack of goodies she sent me!
You can see by the photos I got ALOT of pages done with what she sent, I did a couple of cards as well and still have bits and pieces left over.

You can read all about what Mardi said on the swap here.

Anyone else want to do a swap ? This one was heaps of fun!!

Thanks for stopping by

Scarf Swap

A few weeks ago I joined in with a scarf swap organised by the gorgeous Mardi. We were given a swap partner and had to send of a scarf to our partner.
I sent out my parcel to Lisa, and this morning the postman delivered this beautifully wrapped parcel to me. I love the little crochet flower, so pretty.

Inside were two absolutely gorgeous scarves, a navy spotted one which is so light I reckon I could get away wearing it in summer, and a beautiful peach  one with tassles and beads. I love them both!!

Lisa also spoilt me by adding a little bag of scrappy goodness as well.

Thank you so much Lisa for being my partned and to Mardi for organising the swap :)

Arty Napkin Swap

A few weeks ago I signed up with a Arty napking swap organised by the talented Kate Mason. We sent of to Kate up to 16 fancy napkins and would receive back the same amount. The idea was to have a great collection of napkins to use in our art making, whether it be scrapbooking, art journals or canvases.
This is  what I sent of to Kate....

This gorgeous array is what I received back, oh wow they are all just gorgeous and I dont really want to use them because they look so good haha but im sure I will.

Some close ups of some of my favourites.

Thank you so much Kate for organising the swap and taking the time to sort out and make sure that everyone got something different to what they sent.
You can check out some of Kates work using napkins HERE or all of her beautiful creations HERE or just browse through her blog.

Thanks for stopping by.

Handmade

Lately I have been on a real handmade kick not just scrapbooking but all sorts of things, knitting of course is something I love to do and I have made q few scarves and mittens (will share in a cple of days) I have also gotten into some sewwing, my machine is my grandmas and throws hissy fits on a daily basis lol but I have managed with some coaxing and alot of John fixing to get a few things done.

I joined in on a Gratitude swap over on Mel's blog. We had to make a wrap and fill it with all sorts of cards and things for handwriting letters and notes. Mine has been received now so I can share what I made here...
Cant wait to get mine and start using it!
This is the finished product with a few goodies I included. The apple fabric I purchased from Spotlight.

Inside....

So whilst the machine was being unhelpful I did these couple of wraps up ready for teachers gifts at the end of the year (ive never been so organised lol)

Have been busy making a few other things with felt too, will share them soon.

Have a great Day

Cheers Lis :)
