Tonight I have resigned my position on the design team at Scraptastic south west. I will no longer be designing or having anything more to do with the site.

Just a few layouts tonight from Stuck sketches.

Weekend update.

I finally have time to stop and sit, the weekend was full steam ahead. Saturday Jay wasnt well so we didnt go to his footy carnival, instead we went with Josh to his friendly/parents game, and stoopid here decided to have ago lol god im paying for it today... It was heaps of fun though.
Saturday night was the game at the Gabba, man I thought carlton were done for but they fought hard in the last quarter and ended up winning, it was awesome.
It was late by the time we got home and got the boys into bed and then I still had to get things organised for the next day.
Sunday morning and we slept through the alarm so woke with not very long to get ourselves ready and up to the footy club. Hosting finals is always really really busy and Sunday was no exception, we were flat out all day, so exhausting.
The good part..I got to see the majority of Dan's final and they won!!! Dan didnt play more than about 15 mins though, poor thing is sick again, he could hardly move let alone breathe.
Sunday night we all just fell in a heap, managed some dinner and then into bed to sleep.

So today was all about catching up, man I thought the washing would never end, I had Dan home still sick as well, but did manage to get some 'me' time and do some scrapping.
These first two are from the cybercrop that was held at Addicted2Scrapping over the weekend.





These two are a couple I got done last week but never had time to upload. Both for challenges at Addicted2Scrapping.





Tomorrow is fix the car day - the head gasket blew on us Sunday - hopefully it wont take long to fix as we have a meeting with the high school for Josh's year 11 subject choices tomorrow night.

Getting ready for the weekend

Another weekend already, the weeks seem to just fly by lately. Most people would love this, but i love my weekdays, its when i get so much done. Weekends are just so busy for us that I dont accomplish anything.

This weekend with the home and away season over marks the start of finals, Jay's team doesnt play finals as the AFLQBJ play under Auskick rules where juniors is all about fun. He does have a carnival to play in starting at 9am Saturday morning, a full on day at Redlands with around 3 games, maybe more.
We then head of to the GABBA for the Lions v Blues game GO THE BLUES!! So excited to get to see MY team play live for the first time ever!!!
Somewhere on Saturday we have to arrange getting Josh to a fun game for the 16's that they are playing to keep themselves match fit for finals. Thank god for a fantastic team of parents!

Sunday our club is hosting the under 14 semi's, which means I am at the club at 8am, to open the canteen, John will be doing his first aid duties and even Josh is helping out.
Dan plays the last game of the day which John Cream (our president) has worked the roster around so that I get to watch and not work!! Thanks John!

So home sometime after 4pm..... Tired yet ? lol

If thats not enough for me to do, I really really want to take part in the first Cybercrop being held at Addicted2Scrapping! Starting Friday night at 7pm, Maxine and Kerry will run some fun challenges and games. check it out and be in the running for some cool prizes!!

As mentioned in the previous post there were challenges galore happening at the weekend, i managed to be able to get some of them done.

This one for the M26 challenge at Mystical to use doilies.



This one for Tam's challenge in the mid month marathon at Mystical, to use nothing but white cardstock, paints and stamps!



The next three are for the Blind Scrapping challenges set by Dee at Addicted2Scrapping over the weekend.







I mentioned a couple of posts ago how I am going to be published!!
Well.....the Gorgeous Tam is too!!! her work rocks im so happy for her!!

3 games of footy at the weekend and two wins...last game for Jayden, just finals for the older two to go now. Jay had his presentation and we were flat out all day catering for it, all went very well though.
Had to take John to the dentist today, he had two teeth pulled...poor bugger is not very well...he doesnt cope with locals very well.
Think thats about all for today, have a good one :)

Creation overload

Have been meaning to do a post for days now and just havent gotten around to it. So much going on with us at the moment its hectic. Footy season is nearing the end which means finals and team get togethers as well as club presentations, so busy busy busy.

Wow, did i really do all these, not sure how I found the time lol oh wait sleep missed out... seriously though I think I need a job to fill in those weekday hours instead of spending it all scrapping, but then I love scrapping so maybe not!

Had Kayleighs 1st birthday party yesterday, it doesnt seem like that long ago she was a tiny 6 week old baby spending 3 days a week at my place, god time has flow by, will have pictures of her celebrations sometime soon.

Happy birthday Jim

It was my BIL 40th birthday celebrations last Saturday and Im only just getting around to uploading the photos now. We had a fantastic picnic/bbq style party at the Koala Sanctuary near home, was lots of fun.

Jims cake - wow was this just scrumptious!!

A productive start to the week...

Monday mornings is usually about catching up and getting ready for a new week, im normally a little sluggish after a full on weekend, yesterday however it was all systems go, lots of mojo flowing and creativity happening.

This is my example of my sketch for the sketch challenge im running this month at Addicted2Scrapping. If you havent gone over to have a look, go, you could win a store voucher!!



Im not all that into cards, but with the help of the gorgeous Tam, im starting to do lots more. This one is for a challenge that Kerry set for us at Addicted2Scrapping, in honour of the new store and forum it had to be a congratulations card.


This lot are for the cybercrop that was held over the weekend at Mystical, I didnt manage to get as many as I wanted done though.

weekend wrap up

Its been a great week, and the weekend was just as good. Last week my One Little Word layout was included in 'one of our favourites' which i was thrilled with, then if that wasnt great enough, my White with 1 layout was selected for 3rd prize!!!
On the family side, all 3 boys won their footy games at the weekend, with Josh's under 16's beating one of their main rivals for finals!!
But wait theres more....a little more trivial....the boys cooked dinner for me last night....no big deal ?? here it is... i hate cooking lol so when i dont have to do it i LOVE it!!

On the scrapping front I got these two layouts done for the Game On challenge at Mystical.





I have lots of photos to upload and sort through from Jim's birthday celebrations on Saturday, as well as some Mystical cybercrop layouts to share, will get to them in the next few days...
