Trash to treasure

Its an old saying that someones trash is another person treasure. How often do we think though that our trash can be our treasure.
Everyday Garbage is the blog that does just that. Exploring the possiblities of our household items and things we might throw away for use on our scrap layouts or OTP.
This week...The bathroom..
Ive just had a huge clean out so there wasnt alot left in my bathroom that I could use. So a fairly simple layout of Josh being a fool eating his ice cream cake.
I used a gauze bandage which i opened up and cut to be my photo mat and then used paper tape (sssh hubby doesnt know I took this from his first aid kit lol) for the photo corner and to journal on.

Playing around with paper piecing the last few days and made this cute lion and adorable castle up into cards for a friends twins.

another card for their mum.

Pretty impressed with these as i so dont like making cards lol

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Cheers
