Zig Zag blanket

Who starts a creative project then gets bored with it and puts it away to finish of at a later date when more motivated? That would be me, especially when its a large blanket, this girly zig zag blanket was no exception.
I couldn't even tell you when i first started it, but when I found it all neatly folded up half done in a bag I decided that I was going to work on it till it was done no matter how much i got sick of it.

Luckily for me I found this project during the cooler months of the year so it was very welcome sitting over my lap on those cooler nights.
So as you can see I did manage to get it done and before we had to pack up and move and I love how it turned out. Great size and warm and pretty as well, which in this house is a nice change from all the boy things.

What projects are you working on lately would love for you to share them with me.

Thanks for visiting
Lis :)

  1. Lisa I understand. I made a queen size blanket and it took me three winters.

I think your blanket is beautiful. It looks a great size and the edges seem so straight. I like the colour selection too. All in all you must be so proud of finishing this project.

    1. Thanks Suze, I am proud of it, it was a big project for me using this stitch one id never attempted on anything so large.
