Matt and Bec's Engagement Party

Congratulations to my nephew and godson Matt and his lovely fiancee Bec on their Engagement!!
My SIL Jenni and I were pregnant for some of the time with our firstborns at the same time, Josh and Matt were born 4mths apart. John and I were so happy to be asked to be godparents and spent a glorious couple of weeks on the Gold coast in 1994 to attend the baptism and meet our adorable nephew!!
Until we moved to Queensland in 2000 we didn't get to spend much time with Jenni and Matt but still got to see him grow through photos. After moving to Qld it was so nice for us and our boys to have a cousin to spend time with.
Fast forward 20 years and that little adorable baby has grown into a handsome young man who has found his soul mate, and we were thrilled to help them both celebrate such a special occasion.

Matt and Bec just wanted a low key affair, so a BBQ was organised at his dads place with just family and some close friends. I think our lot almost made up half the guests hahaha with girlfriends (who Matt kindly invited too) we were a party of  7.

We all had a fabulous night with great food and an awesome catch up with family. So proud Matt of who you have become and once again Congrats to both you and Bec :)
