Card creating

Back before Christmas I was asked to take part in a ladies day to help raise funds for Rio Tinto Ride for Cancer. I was more than happy to do my little bit for such a great cause, so I got busy creating. Mixed media canvases (which I blogged here) and some crochet bags and hats and a whole heap of cards along with a few other bits and pieces.
Sadly the event was cancelled. Not to worry all the artwork I created was donated to another friend also raising funds for cancer.
I wanted to share with you today the cards that I created , a few different designs, mostly feminine but it was suggested to me that the first one in the collage could be turned into a male card by just switching out the flower for a star or other male embellishment.(Great idea).

I also decided to have a go at the Angie Delarie digital stamps design team. I was sent this super cute elf to play with, I turned him into a Christmas card.
I didn't make the team but loved playing with Angie's stamp, I have a few of her acrylic stamps too and they are very unique and cute!

Starting to get back into scrapbooking again too, its been way too long. I have made a start on catching up with the boys school photos. I hadn't scrapped any school photos since 2008 (oops) but am now almost finished with Josh's last year and its my plan to have them all upto date by the end of February, wish me luck!

Thanks for stopping by
Lis :)
