a whole lot of stuff

Its funny how the quietness and solitude of a weekend is quickly forgotten once you are back into the weekly routine, doesnt feel like I had that time out at all lol
The school year is getting to the stage where end of year trips, parties and functions are being held, the boys are taking part in alot of these, which is great! for everything except my purse.
Both Dan and Josh are attending the Sports Breakfast this year, Josh made Age champion again this year whilst Dan is getting a couple of awards. I cant be there this year as I need to make sure Jay gets of to school, John cant get time of this year to attend so Im giving the boys my camera (an old point and shoot) and praying that they get some good photos for me!
Josh also has his year 10 semi formal, a night out on the "Island" we recently went shopping for clothes for him... the school had said no fancy or elaborate outfits but no jeans or tshirts... The picking out and trying on of a pair of black trousers with a white pinstripe was pretty easily and went smoothly....finding a shirt to go with it....ok so that wasnt much fun, we finally got a Billabong one that he liked! Now shoes.....all im gonna say here is he is in a size 15 and fussy....
Leaving the shoes buying to dad...

John and I actually have a bit of a social life this next couple of months too lol Tonight we have a committee break up function to go to, just causal but nice to be out of the house.
Next month John's work are taking their staff, partners and customers to the Premiere of "Australia" dinner and drinks as well....WOW!!! cant wait to see this!
Also in November is a weekend at Sea world Nara Resort!! John's work function again, how cool is his company!!

Craft wise ive been busy, here are the promised photos of all the knitting/crocheting/felt work ive been up to.

A whole heap of felt goodness for me and swaps, 5 different scraves, two sets of mittens, Jays blanket for his bed (the 2nd one turned out much better) and a baby blanket i crocheted.

A couple of layouts done this week, this one for Mystical. the middle photo lifts up to reveal an accordian mini book with more photos.

This one is for Stuck sketches, sketch #60.

Have a great day

Cheers Lis :)
