I am so not a coder

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Day 2

Html and code and me just do not get on. I had no idea what to do and I even emailed everyone whose addy I had the code lol
Then my awesome friend Shannon took the code and gave me what I needed for it to show up here. I have tested it so if you copy and past this code below (its slightly different to past months) to the same place you normally do, then you will have your July logo.

<img src="http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x69/skipstercat/JulyJourneys.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">

Will keep the similar name as last month as Kathryn is still on her journey. Susan, Heike and Lisa you didnt get the email I sent (not that it matters now) because I didnt have your email addys.
I have heard from Aly, LisaE, Yvonne, and Melanie (sorry no links im lazy tonight- see side bar) and of course Kathryn and myself are back in again.
Just remember that whilst its a daily blogging group there are times when we cant blog so dont stress over it.
If anyone else wants to join us just leave me a msg and I will add you.

Now i got the business stuff done, onto some fun stuff...
A package arrived for me today from KSK, all the goodies I ordered from their clearance sale!! Cant wait to start playing with it all.

Decided to do the 123 challenge , the challenge for July was to use ribbon, paints and felt.

This layout of my son Josh is for the KSK scrapjack challenge. I got my inspiration from Kim Arnolds layout.

My latest art journal page, for a challenge at KSK set by Donna.
This is her promot .... If you were asked to represent yourself using symbols what approach would you take.
So my take on it is slightly different to what I was going to do, but when I found this symbol it spoke to me..
It is the African symbol of Sankofa. It is the symbol of importance from learning from the past.
The journaling is hard to read so will type it out...

...All the things we learn and do make us who we are! Not all of those things are nice, nor do we want to keep hold of them. We need to take hold of what we learnt from those things and use them to make the next step of our journey hopefully one with less stress and obstacles...

Wow, this ended up being alot longer than I thought.
Enjoy your night

Cheers

Love that Junkitz paper you got from KSK. Should pickup some before it completely disappears.
