Butterfly Crochet Washers

What do you make for a friend who is quite creative and really doesn't need anything? Hard question I'm sure many out there have pondered over.
I have just such a friend who just happens to love butterfly's so the idea came to make her some knitted washers with butterfly's on them. It wasn't hard to quickly chart up some butterfly's and work out some patterns.

I would normally crochet washers for a little more texture, but my ability doesn't yet go as far to work out how to applique, I think the knitted ones look awesome though. In varying shades of pink which is my friends favourite colour and I think I have a gift she will love!
