Thrifty Thursday

If you read my blog then you will know that I love thrifting, charity stores, garage sales, trash and treasure markets, I really like finding a treasure amongst all the things someone else doesnt want. The fact I am buying it cheap but helping someone else out in the process makes me feel good.
Last year I found out about a place not far from home that started of as just a rubbish removing company then decided to open up a recyling shed. OMG this place just rocks!!
There is something there for everyone there really is.
They are only open Saturdays from 8am to 2pm so you need to plan ahead if you want to go have a look.
Not only are they recyling these goods other people throw away but they are also helping out various charities as well as sponsoring their local footy club.
You can follow them on facebook HERE or check out there Website.

This weeks thrifting didnt come up with much (thats always the downside that you dont find anything you want) just a couple of things that caught my eye and just had to come home with me :)

Ceramic pot that is perfect sitting on my desk holding sharpeners and rubbers.

Cute little cup that I have plans of turning into a pincushion.

This was my best find the colour is a offwhite and its is quite large so it holds everything I need it to , plus i have room to throw in crafting stuff to do whilst sitting waiting at footy training :)

What thrifty finds have you found lately, please share with me. Mardi and Janelle have also had lucky finds this week check out what they found by clicking the links on my sidebar under What I Wore Wednesday.

Cheers Lis :)
