Change

The word for OLW this week is change. There are so many possibilities for this word it took me ages to finally decide on which way I would go with it.
Keeping with my quote them for these challenges I chose this one by Gail Sheehy.
If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.

Whirlwind

School holidays have been a big whirlwind of commings and goings here at our place, Both the older boys went of to respective mates places and stayed for a few nights, then Josh came home and brought his mate with him, my sister and nieces came down to spend the day with us, Dan came home for the night.
Josh and Jamie left again for Jamies place and Chris came to stay with Dan, Jay spent a night at with his cousins and then Dan went with Chris back to his place.
Saturday morning and Jay went of to work with John, I woke to an empty house...it was wonderful to just wander and do things when I wanted to but strange at the same time...
Josh has just arrived home, John and Jay are due soon and we are off to spend the afternoon with Jenni and Matt down the coast.

A few of the photos from a day at the park with family....

The walk to the park...

Jess flitted back and forth from one thing to another having a great time!

Jay and Nica love spending time together and the slide was a favourite.

The whirlygig(or flying machine as the kids call it) was a favourite with not just the kids...Yes Vik I posted it, sorry it was too good an opportunity to miss hehe.

The helicopter got alot of workout as well...

Back at home again and they did a bit of drawing and craft stuff...

The punches were a big hit with Jess, especially the heart one...

I did get some scrapping done as well, just a few done this week....

School holidays

The footy season is officially over - well except for the 14's camp and 16's family day - the trophy presentation was held on Saturday night. New format this year and it went really smoothly. Dan and Josh got their medalions and Josh was also given a club shirt for reaching 50 games with the club!

School holidays started this morning and so far its been great! That may have something to do with the fact that Josh went to Jamies last night and isnt comming back till tomorrow maybe Wednesday and Dan went to Claytons for the night lol a nice quiet day with just me and Jay.

Some scrapping from the weekend....

seems my last post about this got lost amongst the rest of the post and didnt stand out all that well, so lets try again....
I have a bag of around 50 buttons (ones with bits on the back not the holes through the centre) that Im never going to use (thanks for the sugestions on how to get rid of the bits girls) amd will give away to one lucky reader, so leave a comment here and your name will go in the draw to win!

The days just go way too fast...

Only seems like the weekend was just here and now its the middle of the week already. I have been busy all week but dont really have alot to show for it, I do have all my washing up to date and the house is reasonably tidy so I guess thats something.
One more week of footy training to go (Josh's grand final this saturday) then we can go back to eating normal meals at regular times and ALL together!!!

Been scrapping a little as always :) here is what I have done....

Aussie scrapjacked - lift of Nikala O'Brien.

Challenges for Mystical
M26 - stitching

I took inspiration for this one from a layout i found online ages ago and now cant find who it belongs to , so if it was yours please let me know :)

Sketch challenge from Wendy

The colour challenge was pink, orange and white, i didnt have any girly photos to scrap so decided to do an art journal page instead. I kept it pretty simple and just used inks, paints and chalk.

I have a heap of buttons, the ones with the bits at the back that you sew onto things rather than the ones with holes in the middle. I am never going to use them so have decided to give them away. They are a mixed bag of colours, probably around 50 buttons, if you would like them just leave me a comment and they are yours, unless of course more than one of you want them, in that case i will draw a random name out.

Have a great day.
