Play with paint...

I love paint and making a mess (who doesnt) and just being free to create whatever i feel like, so when the prompt for We dare you at Mystical was "make a mess" I was in my element!!
I got out my art journal and paints and just went with the flow, this is what I ended up with.
The journaling is a a conversation with god about why women cry so easily...



Also got my journal week 4 page done for the Mystical Jounral challenge.

Weekend update

The weekends round of football started of on friday night with under 16's, Josh didnt play, he is still recovering from a dislocated toe, the boys had a good clean game and a win.
Saturday morning we had both Dan and Jay's games, and as I didnt have to work the canteen this week I went of to watch Jay play at Coorparoo, they played well but went down by 8 points. Got to see some of the Brisbane Lions reserver players as we were leaving, as they were playing there after us.
Dan won his game back at home by over 100 pts!!
Sunday and no games for me, but a nice quiet household as John went of to be trainer for St Kilda Football club at the Gabba again. Dan went with him to watch the game, and Josh was still at his mates place, so just me and Jay at home, I scrapped the whole day and Jay kept himself amused.
Gotta love a day like that.

Catch up!

I had the best week, got to spend it with Sandra! Havent seen her in 6 years so it was awesome to spend time together and catch up. We didnt do all that much other than just chat lots lol but we did manage to go see a few things.

The only Koala that we saw all day, I think the outside ones were hibernating or something.

How cute is this mama wallaby and her little bub, she was such a poser to.



After a week of no scrapping I have spent the last day and a half locked inside my scrap room lol.
This one was one i did a couple of weeks ago but wasnt able to show. It is for the Monday Mojo challenge at Mystical, It was me who had to come up with the technique - masking tape backgrounds.

I am taking some time out, my friend from Melbourne is arriving tonight to spend a week with me, so I wont be scrapping or blogging whilst she is here.

As most of you know I am a challenge junkie, I love them and try to fit in as many a month as I can.

This is for the mojo monday challenge at Mystical - use the paint splatter technique.
Love the white splatter effect on black cardstock!



This one also from Mystical is the colour challenge to use all white...i love how this one turned out!



Have been busy with more creating but cant share those at the moment.

I forgot what its like....

to be on my feet all day.....
9 hours Saturday I spent on my feet, flat out in the football canteen!
Was totally exhausted by the time we got home, and then had to go to football again Sunday...
Thank god today was a holiday!!

Thrilled that Karen asked me to join her team this month and look forward to working with smoe awesome product and the wonderful team over there!
My first job was to do up a challenge for the cybercrop over the weekend.
My challenge was to handmake and decorate a gift bag for mothers day..this is my example...

Has been a full on night here for us tonight, a friends little girl got rushed into surgery and I have been looking after her brother and two little sisters, one of them 8mths old. The good news is that Katelyn is out of surgery and recovering and will be ok!
