The rain finally stopped!

Wow what a week, the biggest storm ive seen since we have been in Brisbane, man it was Huge. We were lucky enough not to sustain any damage thank god. We were at Sea World on the Gold Coast when it started and just made it to the car before the rain thundered down. The trip home wasnt pleasant, it was sticky hot and the traffic was so bad that it took 2 and a half hours to drive the 40km home.
It rained and rained all week, getting washing dry was near impossible, but today finally the sun came out again and it was quite warm again. Hopefully we will have some nicer weather for the rest of the week, although the skies outside dont look too hopeful.

Thank you to all of you who left me comments, or sent messages thanking me for the DT position, it means alot :)

I have been working on christmas presents this week and have done some sewwing and was doing great until my machine decided that it didnt want to work anymore, hopefully hubby can fix it for me.

Here are a few layouts that I have got done this week.

This one for Use your stash challenge.

My friend was in Brisbane last week and hit the storms on the flight home. Glad you are alright and no damage was done to your home.

P.S. Can you let me know your sister's shop address in Moonah as we are spending 2 weeks in Hobart over Christmas. I'd love to check it out.
